Kitchens, bathrooms and windows should be a high priority to keep sparkling clean. Investing in a cleaning service is a great idea for a quick way to tidy up as is having a garage sale before you list your home. And just think, less stuff =less stuff to move.
2. Fix, repair and rehabilitate.
Any areas that need a little TLC should be attended to prior to listing a home for sale. Many things that are an area of concern will make the sale go more smoothly and communicate to potential buyers that you took care of your home and invested time and money to maintain your home.
Make sure to keep records of any repairs made to relay to potential buyers.
3. Flooring and paint.
These 2 items are expensive but can increase the value of your home immensely. Fresh paint does wonders for curb appeal as does new carpet or laminate floors. These items can be very expensive, and won't always be an option for many sellers.
The main idea with these 3 tips is to communicate to sellers that you cared for your home and kept it tidy and neat. Even if you did not always keep your home clean, image is everything when it comes to buyers. Make a good first impression.
